You can help prevent this:

- Change your Facebook Account Password and make sure it is strong and not used on other online accounts

- Enable Two Factor Authentication (2FA) - this will alert you if someone else is trying to gain access to your account

- Make sure your privacy settings are up to date on Facebook If an offer seems too good to be true - it normally is...
