Ceredigion County Council Residual Waste Restrictions
Kerbside restriction
From 23 June 2025, domestic properties in Ceredigion will be limited to one residual waste sack per week, which equates to three sacks per 3-weekly collection cycle. This is in addition to AHP waste from AHP registered customers, where the waste meets the AHP criteria, and is correctly presented for collection in AHP bags.

Household Waste Site Changes
In order to prevent residents from taking their residual waste bags to a Household Waste Site to avoid the restriction, “no unsorted waste” practices will be put in place at the county’s Household Waste Sites.
This is not an outright ban on non-recyclable waste, and there is currently no limit to the amount of non-recyclable waste that can be taken to a Household Waste Site, subject to the following conditions:
• The waste originates from a property in Ceredigion (proof of address will be necessary)
• The waste is from a domestic property. This excludes any waste resulting from commercial activity such as holiday accommodation
• The non-recyclable waste container does not contain anything that could have been recycled at the kerbside, or at the Household Waste
